Chips and Walk: Golf Social (7/13)

What to expect at a Chips and Walk social golf event?

SOCIAL TIME - Provides an opportunity to chat with fellow golfers, visit the proshop, hydrate, warm up, or network. Social time occurs up to an hour before and after tee times.

TEE TIMES - We generally start the round of golf at 8 pm (this varies based on availability).

PAR 3 GOLF  - When you think of golf, most think playing an 18-hole golf course, right? Chips and Walk focuses on playing a par 3 course as it is best suited for golfers that want to learn in a less intimidating environment and want to play a quick round without the hassle of 18 holes.  A par 3 course is a designed to swing the club three times to get the golf ball in the hole (3 swings, so a Par 3 course).  We walk and carry 2-3 clubs on the 9 hole course which lasts about 1.5 hours of play.

SCRAMBLE PLAY - Golfers of all skills levels are grouped into teams of 4-5 golfers. Each golfer starts off the tee.  The team then picks the best ball and plays all of their shots from that spot.

COST -  The rate to play the Par-3 course is $19 per person payable the day of the event.

PRACTICE - You have the option to warm-up/practice before and after tee times. Putting practice is free on the putting green. To practice on the driving range, purchase a bucket of balls (prices vary, see link below).
